What a wonderful Surprise from the Lord….. We were all together as a family for the Christmas celebration in Brisbane, Australia for 2009.

This is how it unfolded:

In November Ieru had just flown to Tasmania, Australia for the very sad news of his nephew drowning, and to attend to the funeral and just be with the family there.

In December Matthew had broken his jaw in Cardiff, Wales and we thought about him coming to Hawaii for rest.

But then our kids had a wonderful idea that Karen flys to Australia and we all meet up for Christmas in Australia.

We had a very good time with our kids and just being together and being around each other was such a buzz for us all!  We loved being hosted by Dave and Matt in their homes, and Rachel was also able to take a few weekends from her DTS to be with us.

I love it the way the Lord knows our hearts desires and He holds them very dear to His heart especially when it comes to Family.

We look forward to 2010 and all the the Lord has planned for us all.

Right now Rachel is attending the YWAM 50th Jubilee Celebration in Canberra and then leaves for her DTS Outreach for Mexico for 2 months.

Matthew is in full training with the Brumbies preparing for this years Super 14 season.

David is very much on the end of his Studies for his Degree in Civil Engineering and will graduate this year.

Ieru and Karen are Co Leading another “All Nations All Generations DTS” in Kona, Hawaii for the next 12 weeks.

We will keep you updated on the comings and goings of the Toomua’s.
